BVM, the first degree engineering college of the state has rendered yeoman service in engineering education for over six decades in bringing out commendable socio economic reforms in, around and far off places. The 18000 alumni of the institute spread worldwide are serving mankind to their utmost with some even acclaimed as eminent technocrats.

BVM has imbibed a culture to serve 500 scholarly students of lower and medium income group and has kept the mission of rural resurgence of the country live and intact. Moreover, about 50% of students are supported by this institute who hail from economically and socially weaker sections of the society (reserved category) and a few who are physically challenged students.

BVM is managed by a very renowned and efficient management, Charutar Vidya Mandal which bears 10% of the recurring expenditure to the tune of 1.5 crore per year as it is a grant-in-aid institute. In addition to recurring expenditure of 1.5 crore per year, CVM also provides all the help for capital expenditure in developing new infrastructure common amenities like auditorium, library, canteen and purchasing lab equipments and system and application soft ware. All these amounts to huge financial allocations in the present scenario. In-spite of these situations the management wants BVM to continue its services to poor and needy sections of the society by imparting quality technical education. In such situation BVM looks forward to its alumni for a helping hand to shoulder the responsibilities of our growing institution.

We, thus, expect at least 18000 graduated engineers and well wishers of BVM to come forward & extend their support in raising “BVM Endowment Fund” of at least Rs.20.0 crore so that the interest amount can help us to keep the torch of engineering education to needy and scholarly students burning high through quality education. The cheque should be deposited to Charutar Vidya Mandal to avail the benefit of IT Exemption 80G(5).
